The Doyenne

Dr. Margie Morgan is the Director of Clinical Microbiology at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. Born and raised in Tulsa, OK, she obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Oklahoma. After a fellowship at Mayo Clinic, she set out for the big city of Los Angeles with some trepidation, but today she’s one of the most influential lab directors and teachers in her field.
